See my later mails - those are exactly the instructions that are wrong and don't work.

Before the last edit they were:

(cvs update)
cd /usr/pkgsrc/pkgtools/pkg_install
pkg_delete -ff pkg_install
make USE_CWRAPPERS=no install
cd /usr/pkg/sbin && install -c pkg_add pkg_admin pkg_create pkg_delete pkg_info /usr/sbin/

Really? So pkgsrc won't work unless you overwrite the SYSTEM provided pkgtools with the ones from pkgsrc! How is that acceptable?

Surely at the point in time that pkg_install is run the tools in /usr/pkg/sbin should get picked up and pkgsrc should think that all is good. If that's not the case then there is still more work to do in pkgsrc.
