Current Spread 4 in pkgsrc is 4.4.0, published in 2014. In 2018, a 4.4.1 release was done with an important bugfix. I see spread 4.4.0 in "wip", and it is downloading the sourcecode from "ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/misc/fhajny/";. This is because the master site requires some clicking (license, data compilation) to get the sourcecode. Could I humbly request to upgrade the package to 4.4.1? Could I humbly request a new 5.0.1 package? Thanks a lot.
