emacs26 update issue?

While running "lintpkgsrc -p", I saw the following:

/path/to/pkgsrc/editors/emacs-nox11/Makefile: make: "../../editors/emacs/../../editors/emacs/Makefile.common" line 89: Could not find ../../editors/emacs26-nox11/version.mk make: Fatal errors encountered -- cannot continue

That machine had emacs25-nox11 installed, with no EMACS_TYPE set
explicitly.

I'm not sure how serious this is, but at least something seems amiss and I know
this was changed recently.
