What about Debian GNU/kFreeBSD? ;-)

Sure, but frankly I would like to allocate my time to other things than
fixing up icu's build system. Is the current patch fine enough to be
applied to pkgsrc, with or without the !defined(__APPLE__)? It may not
be the ‘correct’ solution, but it does fix the build on systems with
new glibc.
