That's great.

But a presentation on a *BSD conference does not replace an 
announcement and subsequent discussion on tech-pkg@, nor a chapter 
added to doc/pkgsrc.txt.

And this is a recurring theme with newly-conceived pkgsrc configuration 
options, where a web search will come up with cvs change logs, at best, 
but you usually have to grep -R pkgsrc/* with likely names, and read 
the code. Or mail tech-pkg@, substantially increasing turnaround times.

So I'll set that for xemacs, although a separate per-package variable 
name would be more elegant.
