The problem here is that for various reasons, FreeBSD decided to change
the name of the control variable and DragonFly inherited that change.
Personally, I don't have any motivation for patching up the rc scripts
to work with both conventions, but I wouldn't oppose *clean* patches
that don't complicate the rc scripts.
