platform fixes: now, not during the freeze

Hi!

The next freeze is coming soon (about 14 days to go).

If you have want to fix some often-used packages that are broken on
your platform (MesaLib, graphviz, mpfr, help2man, cairo, python27,
...), please do it now and not in the last days before the freeze or
even during the freeze.
