current pkgsrc can't fing glib2

Hey folks,

on several machines running NetBSD-current and pkgsrc-current as of yesterday
various pkgs fail to build for me:

checking pkg-config is at least version 0.9.0... yes
checking for glib-2.0 >= 2.24.0... not found
*** The required package glib-2.0 was not found on your system.
*** Please install glib-2.0 (atleast version 2.24.0) or adjust
*** the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
*** installed the package in a nonstandard prefix so that
*** pkg-config is able to find it.
*** Error code 1

but:  pkg_info glib2                                   Information for glib2-2.44.1nb1:
