…

[8:23pm][Sno]: on MacOS X I get nowadays "ERROR: No usable termcap library
found on the system." very often
[8:24pm][Sno]: do I simply missed dependent packages earlier or has something
changed which causes that?
[8:24pm]jperkin: xcode 5?
[8:24pm][Sno]: jperkin: yes
[8:24pm]jperkin: right, we need to add support for it
[8:24pm][Sno]: can I help?
[8:25pm][Sno]: or do you have a workaround for the meantime?
[8:27pm]jperkin: do you have a mk/platform/Darwin.mk which includes
IS_BUILTIN.termcap=yes for 13.0 ?
[8:27pm]jperkin: if so, need to figure out what else it doesn't like
[8:30pm][Sno]: I have - thanks for the hint
[8:38pm][Sno]: BUILTIN_LIBNAME.termcap is expected being set - but isn't
[8:49pm][Sno]: jperkin: I don't understand following
[8:49pm][Sno]: (cd print/teTeX && bmake show-vars VARNAMES="IS_BUILTIN.termcap
IS_BUILTIN.terminfo USE_BUILTIN.termcap")
[8:49pm][Sno]: yes
[8:49pm][Sno]: yes
[8:50pm][Sno]: mk/termcap.builtin.mk looked as if USE_BUILTIN.termcap should be
set
[8:55pm]jperkin: USE will only be set if it's actually depended upon
[8:57pm][Sno]: ok, so I have to check it with the failing lua52 package
[8:59pm][Sno]: jperkin: http://paste.scsys.co.uk/281241
[9:00pm][Sno]: I currently cannot commit (I reinstall my machines) - if you
would take it, I'd appreciate

Would be nice if someone can take care - at the moment I’m handicapped.

Cheers
