So, you're exchanging a whole lot of gnu bloated library for a whole lot
of gnu bloated shell.

I find that somewhat ironic...

more seriously, how fast is it compared to the original ? bash tends not 
to be overly quick, as far as shells go, though I heard it improved in
recent versions.
