'Broken' libtool handling

Hi,

I just noticed the following output while building a package:

config.status: executing libtool commands
rm: libtoolT: No such file or directory

That always shows up during the configure step and is not limited
to one package. e.g. jpeg, pcre, glib2, png, ....

Nothing seems to be broken but it bothers me that there could be an
issue which will only cause problems for some packages.
