1) there were *many* discussions about share/doc/html vs just share/doc

2) many people said, that naming directory according to the format of the
   documentation is inappropraite, wrong and inconsistent
   (http://mail-index.netbsd.org/tech-pkg/2002/11/21/0005.html and many
   more)
   
   Unfortunatley, as NetBSD.org's mail-index is still in 80's, the archive
   browser doesn't support threaded browsing and it is pretty hard to get a 
   consistent view of the discussion. Perhaps use some 3rd party website,
   that knows, how to do it, like MARC.

3) Packages.txt as well as NetBSD-current hier(7) are silent on this topic

4) first e-mails about doc/html/ appeared on tech-pkg@ around 2002. Today
   we have 2004. Oh well.
