tech-install: printing just 2487259-2183616 from a bootable cd

I tried to install the netbsd from a bootable cd, booting from wd11a:netbsd it's trying to boot and stops printing:   2487259+2183616-
And nothing more... The platform is an IBM 300GL (Desktop) with a scsi hard drive.
