Yes, that is an option, but not a perfect one.  The total address space for each user process is only 16MB (hah, you thought arm26 was bad!), so the crunch’d binary can’t bee too big (because the whole thing has to be mmap’d, thus consuming VA space, even if you don’t page it all in), otherwise, you don’t have any (virtual) room for heap and stack.

Disk space isn’t the only concern!
