Amendment to my statement...  probably should be spi(4)....  The early
part of umcpmio(4) uses spi(4) and iic(4) and I suspect I meant to do
that though the entire man page.  I don't know exactly where "8" came
from...

What spi(9) is about is the internal kernel API to the spi framework,
what spi(4) is about is the user land interface and that probably makes
more sense.
