	Hello Jeff.  While you might be able to get zvols to work as backingstore for domu
machines, I wouldn't recommend it.  The throughput on zvol devices is very slow relative to
just using regular files in zfs.  If you do a web search for very slow zvol throughput on zfs,
you'll find a lot of discussion about the symtom and the technical reasons why it's not an easy
problem to solve.

Instead, I suggest using regular files, preallocated with dd.
