The VAX4000/1005A hangs during boot, spinning cursor stops. It ends up at boot prompt, and a second attempt seems to load the kernel, but then
it hangs. This happens with both the boot I built and the boot from
ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/misc/matt.

The boot I'm using did this with Matt's kernel, but not with kernels I build myself. It's at http://www.hamartun.priv.no/tih/boot.vax if you'd
like to try it.

For some reason, all I get with your boot is:
?06 HLT INST

Switching back to Matt's boot loads the kernel and hangs as before.

I used wget to pick up your boot.

If you halt your kernel, please do:

e psl
e pc
e ksp
e fp
e is

Use the value from ksp and do

e/v/n:40 ksp

and then point me at your kernel :)
