yes 3.3V EDO buffered with ECC (sometimes called registered, but I think
EDO it is always ECC)
You can also use memory from peecee systems, I know some early Compaq
Proliant server running
such memory. BUT It may be risky to use this memory, because afaik the
U5 only accept 10-address-column memory
which is imho not marked on a memory module, with other memory the
system will throw the exception.
You will not damage your machine, but if it is mixed with 11-column, the
error doesn't come up on boot.
The system will be unstable. So the best option is to buy Sun stuff here.
But it isn't that expensive, because alot of US-2i systems and
highend-Enterprise-US1/2 machines uses this kind
of configuration.
