Meanwhile I noticed that "about:config" doesn't work too...

Is this a NetBSD or a Firefox problem?
Firefox should work on LP64 (amd64) as this architekture is in quite
wide use these days. But amd64 is afaik LE and SPARC is BE... So I
suspect sloppy programming in Firefox with LP64-BE problems.
