I have build cmake, took some time. Today I built ICU and it went fine,
gnutls...
nano available but also built nedit and xemacs with X11. Quick test
seems to work.

Nice to know it works on real hardware.

Do you have JPEG_DEFAULT = jpeg in your /etc/mk.conf ? I tried to  set if for avoiding libjpeg-turbo's dependency on cmake, but I guess I need make clean for this to take effect?

next week I will proceeed. As written in users mailing list, I have a
decent set with all basic build dependecies, no place to share though.

gtk fives issues, will retry.

I build on a mix of 10.0 and 10.1 though on two systems. Up to now,
installing 10.1 built packages on 10.0 did't reveal issues, although not
the official way.
10.1 works fine on Sparc, better than 10.0, I would recomment upgrading.

Yeah, but I thought official packages usually built on 10.0 release?
