Well, we're all busy with other machines as well ( and low level SPARC isn't exactly my speciality anyway )
NetBSD seems to be the only *nix with decent support for 32-bit SPARCs so I'm eager to see development continue.
I will continue to write at least basic support for any graphics device I get in my hands.
