Maybe a quick glance over in port/Mac68k might have some useful info...

	When I try to ssh in using ssh2, it takes a while. It's more
noticable with the Mac OSX built-in ssh client, than PuTTY on Win98 (but
it's still delayed).
	But connecting with ssh1 (Mac OSX or PuTTY) it's nice & quick. Maybe
a quick glance over in port/Mac68k might have some useful info...

	Here are the notes I made when I connected to his port-mac68k
machine...

	On Mac OSX 10.1.5...
ssh -1 - as quick as expected.
ssh -2 - an irritating delay.

	On Windows 98, using PuTTY Release 0.51...
- ssh1 protocol version, using either 3DES or Blowfish encryption algorithm
- as quick as expected.
- ssh2 protocol, using either 3DES, Blowfish, or DES algorithms - delay, not
as bad as ssh2 on OSX. But still seemed to take too long.
