Dear all,

I today tried to netboot my SGI Indigo w/R3000 with various NetBSD IP12
ECOFF kernels. Unfortunately it looks like none of the tested official
NetBSD kernels does start/work after it was downloaded via TFTP - at least
that is my impression.

I can't help with the direct question, but regarding older versions of
NetBSD have you tried http://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD-archive/ ?

Yes, I tried NetBSD 3.0 and 4.0 from the archive. The first official NetBSD IP12 kernel arrived with NetBSD 3.0. I didn't try the versions in between though and also not the versions in between 4.0 and 6.0, as both didn't work.

Cheers,
Frank
