WiiU ethernet adapter

I recently got NetBSD on my WiiU running, thanks alot to Jared and all other devs that made it possible.

I don't have any USB to ethernet adapter, so I rather ask before buying something that won't work. 
Does only the offical adapter work or will anything that works under NetBSD work?
If so, any recommendation?
