Mystery PowerPC board
Hi,
I got a strange PowerPC mainboard for 5 Euro from eBay (I was curious).
Maybe I can experiment with NetBSD on it.
Unfortunately, even after some hours of googling, I was unable to find out
what I got here (the previous owner didn't know either).
The only indicator for a manufacturer is "Agfa". The numbers on the board are
meaningless (e.g. "A333678" besides the Agfa-logo). I have uploaded a photo
of the board to: http://sun.hasenbraten.de/~frank/NetBSD/AgfaPPC.jpg
The following chips can be found:
- EMPPC740GBUB2660 (a 740 with 266MHz)
- MPC106A
- Altera Flex EPF10K10QC208 (FPGA 10k gates)
- Altera Max 7128S (EEPROM-based PLD)
- PC87332 (Super I/O chip: FD-controller, 2xUART, IEEE 1284, IDE-interface)
- LSI53C875 (Symbios Logic SCSI RAID)
- 21143TD (10/100 Ethernet LAN Controller)
- DP83840 (Ethernet Physical Layer 10/100)
Slots and connectors:
- 1 x EISA (?)
- Floppy disk
- SCSI (1 x internal, 1 x external)
- 4 x DIMM
- JTAG
- 2 x serial DB9
- MII
- UTP
- BNC
- Three non-standard (?) power connectors
- and some strange connectors I don't know about
Most chips on the board are from 2003.
Anybody has a clue what it is, and how to get power into it? :)
