With the right hardware and a few helpful hints in the right hands it  
would be more or less around the corner, at least for two CPUs. What  
we'd have to figure out for any particular hardware is:
- - how to start a particular CPU ( macppc as gpios that control their  
reset pins, no idea what other machines do )
- - how to send IPIs on machines that don't have OpenPIC
Unfortunately all that's likely rather model specific.
