The /usr/nfsroot/NetBSD/macppc doesn't have to say anything. There is
only a set of kernel images I have tried to boot (prep, ofppc, macppc)
/bin/sh, /sbin/init und /dev/console. (sh and init taken from prep, as
the boot server machine is a "Model: IBM PPS Model 7248 (E)" == PReP
43P-100) When it got to the last line it does some NFS traffic every few
seconds and than freezes. 

A PREP kernel looks up pretty early:

If I tftp the PREP kernel directly it simply stops loading at one point.

If I try to enter the kernel debugger the machine panics:
