The GNU assembler has included that mnemonic since August 2000.Anyway, can it please be changed to ``mftb %0'' so that the kernel can be compiled with either current or the 1.5.x series compiler?
NO! If you want to compile a -current kernel on 1.5.x, use build.sh to build yourself a -current toolchain. Compiling with an older toolchain is explicitly not supported. (-current has AltiVec support which is not in 1.5.x either). -- Matt Thomas Internet: matt%3am-software.com@localhost 3am Software Foundry WWW URL: http://www.3am-software.com/bio/matt/ Cupertino, CA Disclaimer: I avow all knowledge of this message
