Since you two are on different wavelengths, I'll cut this short.

The card is an UPGRADE for a POWERPC-BASED MAC, and needs the BOOT ROM on
the MAC MOTHERBOARD in order to work.  It will not work on a passive PCI
backplane, as it is not a self-contained ("embedded") computer.
