gdb installation on powerpc/netbsd

hi,
  I am trying to install GDB on a platform with
configuration
powerpc-apple-netbsdelf1.4.1/macppc-unknown-netbsdelf1.4.1
but it does 
not
go through. Can you suggest if there are any patches
that need for this 
or
any special changes that i need to make before
installation.
