However I can confirm that fwohci was causing problems on the
PowerBook5,8. It could be a bit hard to debug because it didn't crash
right away.

Disabling fwohci makes the kernel work fine.


As for the trackpad, I committed a fix to -current a long while ago, but
I can't remember if it made it to 5.0 or not, but apparently it
didn't. I'll request a pullup.
