Good.
It's odd though, I thought at least one of my machines would use the  
same firewire controller as yours but I have never seen this problem.  
I've seen plenty of those Bus Reset messages but none of them ever  
hung the machine. Do you have anything connected to the firewire port?  
I don't and I only ever used it as network interface.
