Hello,

From a NetBSD 4.0_STABLE instance, issuing a "sysctl hw", I saw the
following thing:

=== Kurobox ===
hw.machine = sandpoint
hw.model = 8245 (Revision 0.4)
hw.ncpu = 1
hw.byteorder = 4321
hw.machine_arch = powerpc

=== Mini ===
hw.machine = macppc
hw.model = 7447A (Revision 1.5)
hw.ncpu = 2
hw.byteorder = 4321
hw.machine_arch = powerpc

Does this (same hw.machine_arch) mean that a pkgsrc binary compiled on my
Mini would run on the Kurobox and vis-versa ? Or does the hw.machine
difference prevents such a thing/feature ?

Both machines are OEA and as such are completely binary compatible.
