I suspect that much, but all too often web sites call CardBus cards
PCMCIA anyway, and that makes googling a bit harder.  I have no idea
if chipset can be used with 16-bit PCMCIA bus, I figure it doesn't
hurt to ask. :)

IIRC, a 32-bit card won't physically fit in a 16-bit slot. The grooves on the sides of the card are different.

Regardless; man ath reports that the devices can only be attached to pci or cardbus buses.
