Can anyone recommend a PCMCIA network card that is reliable in both WinCE and NetBSD? I've heard the Realtek chip cards are to be avoided, but I'd like to hear from people who have real experience with a particular card they like.

I use a NE2000 clone from D-Link which works like a charm in both OSes without any additional drivers. For wireless I can recommend a D-Link DCF-660W (CF form factor, but comes with a PCMCIA adapter), no problems in NetBSD. And it needs much less power than the cards I used before. For WinCE you need extra drivers, though.

Torsten, is that the DE-660 ethernet you have? I'm going to try to get one off ebay. They aren't too expensive.

I already had an Orinoco Gold wireless card, and the kernel Nikos sent me supported it already. Just launched dhclient, and I was good to go.
