FWIW, I am using a uSD with an RPI4 which I am running not with UEFI.
The reason is because I just want it to be headless and I didn't want to
mess with UEFI settings to re-enable more than 3G of my 8G of RAM.
I dimly recall having to swap in a new dtb to make sdmmc work with
non-UEFI, but I am now unclear on what the problematic device was.
But this is a 4 not a 5!!
