I confirm the observations on above thread (RPI4, aarch64 image of 08
Aug).

The device works at times, but not always. Even on reboot there is no
guarantee that it would.

From the above thread it appears that the only solution is to not use it.

Has anything changed of late, or any firmware updates that would help?
