If the reader has a full-featured web browser you could use something
like Apache Guachamole to export a screen to it. If it allows 3rd party
android apps you could just install a native VNC client apk.
Side note: many of the cheap chinese readers out there are based
on Rockchip RK3026 and similar. Could probably boot NetBSD natively
with some work, but display panel documentation/support is a challenge.
