undefined reference to `ldexpl' for 7.1.2 evbarm

It's missing in 6.1.5 arm64, but works in 7.1 amd64 and i386

I was a bit surprised to discover that it doesn't exist in 7.1.2 evbarm

Is that a known quirk?  Has it been fixed for 8?  Should I send a pr so it 
doesn't fall through the cracks?  ...


libc and libm appear to be the same version for evbarm and amd64
