At this point, aside from some DRKKMS issues on i386/amd64, it seems that netbsd-7 is just as stable. If you were setting up a production web server, I'd recommend 6 still, but for trying things out, 7 is definitely what you should try. And it is useful to report any issues in 7, so that they can be fixed before official release.
