Hi,
thanks to your kind supports, my A1200 successfully boots from a swap partition in a CF card! Here's dmesg: http://www.netbsd.org/~rin/a1200_dmesg_20170223.jpg
Great!
However, unfortunately, there are two problems. (1) I can read a CF card; rootfs can be mounted. But I cannot write to it due to the following errors: http://www.netbsd.org/~rin/a1200_wdc_error_20170223.jpg Here, wd0 is a CF card (Sundisk 8GB 50MB/s) connected to the machine via CF-IDE converter. I can write to it from AmigaOS.
I haven't seen that, and I'm using a CF to IDE adapter on the motherboard IDE as well. Which m68060 accelerator do you have?
(2) I cannot use ne0. It also becomes timeout, and media type cannot be set.
Your MAC is set to ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff. I'm not sure if your card is not really ne2000 compatible or if it's something else, but another card would be a good test.
Also, there's a how-to on Aminet that explains how to fix the PCMCIA reset problem. I think this is it:
