Interesting. Neither loadbsd nor booting from sd0a from the Amiga boot menu
(two mouse buttons held at restart) works for me. gobsd works great though.
That's how I'm booting, and even running X... B-) (but only twm by
the moment....)
Nevertheless, I cannot tell about the floppies getting polled. It doesn't
happen here.
Apart from that, it shows the same symptoms.
What is really strange is that when I use gobsd to boot, the CV64 seems to
be detected at booot time, so when I get the dmesg stuff when booting, the
characters CV64 appear in 4 different colours on the top right corner of
the screen.
When I use loadbsd, or try to boot straight into NetBSD, the message about
the memory (avail and location) the font seen on the screen is double tall
than with gobsd, i.e., looks like gobsd makes NetBSD boot in interlaced
screenmode.
Maybe you could try gobsd. But then you should get back your SVGA monitor...
;-)
Best regards
