kernel and Yamaha CD writer

I recently installed the Yamaha CD-writer CRW4260T. When booting, the
kernel shows the following error (system message):

    SENSE KEY:  Aborted Command
     ASC/ASCQ:  Message Error

Even later on when trying to mount manually, I get the same output.

What is wrong here?
