fvwm2 compiler warnings

While compiling fvwm-2.0.46, make produced quite a lot of warnings (no
errors though). Below some of them:

Can this be considered as "normal" and unavoidable?

What can be done by the user compiling the source to avoid those
warnings?

What went wrong?
