A3000 with A2024

I have an A3000 with an A2024 running a NetBSD-1.2 era current, that I 
mostly don't use anymore, so I want to remove a couple of disk drives
from it and install them on the PC I do use.  I was thinking about
upgrading NetBSD to NetBSD 1.3, which seems to be released soon.  Does 
the version of X11R6 released with NetBSD 1.3 support the A2024?  The
last update of X11R6 that I tried didn't have xdaniver, and I couldn't 
get the A2024 to work with it.  What's the current release date for
NetBSD 1.3?
