Installation problems

Hi.
I'm having trouble with installing NetBSD onto my Amiga.
The installation script never gets any further than
"looking for the root device". Then nothing happens...
I'm using 1.3_ALPHA kernel and 1.2.1 miniroot (from the Amiga Format CD).
I've tried to use the 1.3_ALPHA miniroot but it doesn't get any further...

My computer setup is:
A1200 030 50Mhz (no FPU)
5.5 MB Memory 
1.7GB IDE Hard Drive 
CD-ROM (ATAPI)
