It does. I've got that DELL hacked floppydrive hooked up at DF1:
(the small rubberlike flat.. thing, so flat the ejectbutton is on top)

fdc0 at mainbus0: dmabuf pa 0x1e27e8: dmabuf ka 0x2dde7e8
fd0 at fdc0 unit 0: 3.5dd 80 cyl, 2 head, 11 sec [9 sec], 512 bytes/sec
fd1 at fdc0 unit 1: 3.5hd 80 cyl, 2 head, 22 sec [18 sec], 512 bytes/sec

This is what you have to see :)
