MMU checks in locore.s...

I submitted a patch for this a while back, and was told it would have to
wait until '060 support was in.

Would anyone object to a patch which made it so that, unless you have a given
MMU, you will neither have the code for it, nor check to see if that's your
MMU type?  I've found that this can make 030 or 040 only kernels detectably
faster, and since many of us use only one machine...
