Re: PR 22160

Just an additional data point. When I was in college, these were the backup drives for our DECstations, so the issue may also impact pmax architecture and perhaps vax as well.

I came across PR 22160 today because it had been in feedback since
2008. Apparently on 1.6.1 in 2003, a SCSI TK50 tape drive wasn't
working.

I looked it up; it was filed by John Dundas.  John, are you on this list?  If so, can you describe the setup you were using back then?

Dave, et al,

Yes.  The AlphaStation is configured as follows:

AlphaStation 200 (4/233)
SRM V7.0-9
ARC 4.58
PALcode VMS V5.56-2, OSF X1.46-2
Serial ROM 1.3
Diag ROM V1.2
Processor 21064A-6 233 MHz CPU, 512 KB cache
64 MB RAM (4x16MB; 2 slots free)
NCR 810 SCSI controller
CD ROM - RRD43
hard disk: RZ26L-E Rev. B01
Intel SIO 82378
Floppy disk

with PBXGA-AA/AN (ZXLp-E1) graphics board.  A TK50Z-GA was connected to the SCSI port.

Hope this helps,

John
