Things I'm aware of:

a) It has a BSD-style license
b) It has changes intended to make it easier to replace
   /sbin/init (e.g. transparent support for startup and shutdown
   scripts).  Doing this with raw daemontools would be awkward.

However it is very definitely daemontools-inspired; this shows
through and many "replacement" commands have compatible syntax.

There are various minor changes and improvements; I suggest
you read the man pages and / or take a look at
